# Prosedür

SQL Prosedürleri, veritabanı işlemlerinin tekrarlanmasını, yapılandırılmasını ve optimize edilmesini sağlayan, yineleme yapabilecek, kullanıcı tanımlı veritabanı fonksiyonlarıdır. Prosedürler, veritabanı tarafından yürütülen, içeriği SQL ifadeleri ve/veya diğer prosedürlerden oluşan, bir çağrıda bir kerede çalışan, adlandırılmış bloklar olarak düşünülebilir. Prosedürler, veritabanı içerisindeki verileri veya veritabanı işlemlerini değiştirmeden önceki veya sonraki değerleri hesaplamak, verileri işlemek veya veritabanı içerisinde belirli bir işlem yapmak için kullanılabilir.
