# COUNT

SQL "COUNT" fonksiyonu, veritabanındaki bir tablo veya sütunun kaç adet veri içerdiğini belirler. Bu fonksiyon veritabanındaki verilerin miktarını belirlemek için kullanılır.

Örnek olarak, aşağıdaki sorguda "customers" tablosundaki müşterilerin sayısı döndürülür:

```sql
SELECT COUNT(*)
FROM customers;
```

Bu sorguda, "COUNT(\*)" ifadesi ile tüm verilerin sayısı döndürülür. "COUNT" fonksiyonu sadece belirli bir sütunun sayısını belirlemek için de kullanılabilir.

Örnek olarak, aşağıdaki sorguda "customers" tablosundaki "country" sütunundaki farklı ülke sayısı döndürülür:

```sql
SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT country)
FROM customers;
```

Bu sorguda, "COUNT(DISTINCT country)" ifadesi ile farklı ülke sayısı döndürülür. "COUNT" fonksiyonu veritabanındaki verilerin sayısını belirlemek için kullanılabilir.
