# SUM

SQL "SUM" fonksiyonu, veritabanındaki bir tablo veya sütunun verilerinin toplamını hesaplamak için kullanılır.

Örnek olarak, aşağıdaki sorguda "orders" tablosundaki sipariş tutarlarının toplamı döndürülür:

```sql
SELECT SUM(amount)
FROM orders;
```

Bu sorguda, "SUM(amount)" ifadesi ile "amount" sütunundaki verilerin toplamı döndürülür. "SUM" fonksiyonu veritabanındaki verilerin toplamını hesaplamak için kullanılabilir.
