# DISTINCT

SQL'de "DISTINCT" komutu, belirtilen sütunun benzersiz (yinelenmeyen) değerlerini döndürmek için kullanılır. Bu, bir sütunda tekrarlanan değerleri kaldırmak ve benzersiz değerleri elde etmek için kullanışlıdır.

DISTINCT komutu aşağıdaki şekilde kullanılır:

```sql
SELECT DISTINCT column_name
FROM table_name;
```

Burada "column\_name", benzersiz değerleri almak istediğimiz sütunun adıdır. "table\_name", sorgulamak istediğimiz tablonun adıdır. Örneğin, "Orders" adlı bir tablodaki benzersiz "CustomerName" sütununu almak için şu SQL sorgusu kullanılabilir:

```sql
SELECT DISTINCT CustomerName
FROM Orders;
```

Bu sorgu, "Orders" tablosundaki "CustomerName" sütunundaki benzersiz değerleri döndürür. Bu sorgu, "Orders" tablosundaki her bir müşterinin yalnızca bir kez adını gösterir.

DISTINCT komutu, bir sütundaki benzersiz değerleri elde etmek için kullanışlıdır. Ancak, büyük veritabanlarında kullanılırsa, sistem kaynaklarını tüketebilir. Bu nedenle, büyük veritabanları için, benzersiz değerleri elde etmek için diğer yöntemler de kullanılabilir.
